Case Overview
Following unknown death near a residential area, forensic teams faced
challenges in identifying skeletonized victims. Antemortem (AM) dental records were
available for reported missing persons, allowing forensic experts to compare them with
postmortem (PM) findings. Dental ID was used to expedite the process through automated
dental charting, structured AM-PM comparison, and age assessment.
This case underscores Dental ID’s role in forensic victim identification, demonstrating its efficiency, accuracy, and reliability in post-disaster investigations.
