Case Overview
Following the discovery of skeletal remains near a residential area, forensic teams encountered considerable challenges in establishing the identity of the deceased due to advanced decomposition and the absence of identifiable personal effects. However, antemortem (AM) dental records were available for several missing persons. The forensic odontology team conducted detailed comparisons with postmortem (PM) findings. Utilizing advanced techniques such as automated dental charting, structured AM-PM alignment, and age estimation. They successfully streamlined the identification process and expedited the overall forensic investigation.
